  • This print is an original by Tokuriki, marked “Tomi” for “Tomikichiro” in the left hand bottom corner

  • Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto is the head of over 30,000 Inari Shrines in Japan

  • Fox figures guard Inari shrines and are thought to be messengers of Oinari, the deity of food, farmers, and rice harvest

  • This print features the famous Senbon Torii (Thousand Torii Gates)
