The Chrysanthemum is a perennial plant that blooms in autumn and is one of the “Shinkushi”, a collective of four “noble” plants in Chinese art
The flower has been used in since ancient times in Japan for ornamental purposes and was believed to be a medicine for longevity
Considered to be a noble flower, it is used as the crest of the Imperial family
